kappa MYSTA is the stage name of a Greek artist born and raised in Cyprus.
The name was initially created in spring 2005 and used in Athens Greece, while performing with Sigmatropic.
The stage name symbolizes the need for internal balance (what in greek is called “metro”).
This is why the first 5 letters are always written in small letters (kappa) and the following 5 are written in capitals (MYSTA).
‘kappa’ is the 10th letter of the greek alphabet and a strong connection of the artist to his roots: his family and his country of origin... ‘MYSTA’ stands for the mystical miracle of human life and existence, a connection of the artists to people, life and creation...
The Artist’s core creative vein is music, often combined to other forms of artistic expression...
His complex and multi-artistic personality has lead him to work across disciplines and combine various forms and textures of expression. Art, just like people, is simple and yet complex. It can take various shapes and colours but still remain intact.
The combination and arrangement of various elements is what makes art worthy, beautiful and useful. kappa MYSTA is mostly interested in the artistic results of a mixture of elements, deriving from various backgrounds and artistic forms.

During his school years, he attended to music lessons and studied piano, theory & history of music, orchestration & vocal training. Moved to Athens (Greece) to study classical music and musicology with a state scholarship and then to London (UK) where he continued his studies in Music Production and Technology. Later he also attended to a masters course on Music, Business and Management.
kappa MYSTA has already performed in lots of countries (Cyprus, Greece, Germany, France, the UK, Russia, Denmark etc), and in different roles: as a performing artist in musical theatre productions and staged shows, as a keyboard and technology player, as a singer, as a multimedia artist and many more.
